Warren Eather commented on Randy's blog post Multi-Vehicle testing with APM:Copter, Tracker and Mission Planner
"Hi Rico, I did attempt that a couple of years back with 3 with not much luck. By using both Telem sockets on the pix in the repeater aircraft it is possible with 4 radios. The MAVLink forwarding rules in ArduPilot will pass the packets through."

"Excellent work Tridge!
What happens during QLAND? Would the under-carriage point into the wind like a Quadplane weathervanes its nose into the wind?"

"Hi Tridge,
A year back you might remember I blogged about a proof of concept solution to this issue by using a combination of single & multipoint firmware and 5 Tx/Rx.
Although we never tested it beyond line of sight it did seem to work remarkably…"

"Unfortunately due to various issues we were bitterly disappointed not to be able to get our D2 to a submitable level. But I thought I'd post the video of our QuadPlane flight in the 20 Knots over the weekend.
We wish all OBC competitors the best of…"

Warren Eather commented on Andrew Tridgell's blog post Building, flying and crashing a large QuadPlane
"Thanks for the report Tridge,
The CUAV's VQ Porter will go down in history as one of the great UAV S&R pioneer aircraft. I was privileged to see her fly in Kingaroy in 2014.
Are you planning to post the flight logs you speak about in your report?"

Warren Eather commented on Warren Eather's blog post Multi-Point Repeater Aircraft
"Hi deadhurricae, (If thats your real name!)
During this test the repeater aircraft never traveled anymore than 300m from either the quad or the ground station.
As you can see from the tlog the wireless telemetry connection was around 50% for both…"

Warren Eather replied to Nigel Newall's discussion GPs locking problem in ArduPlane User Group
"On the GPS do you have a steady red light?
The lights on my APM act the same as yours if my GPS is unplugged.
Recheck your GPS pins & cabling."

Warren Eather replied to Nigel Newall's discussion GPs locking problem in ArduPlane User Group
"Hi Nigel, have you tried sitting the Bix outside with a clear view of the sky for 10-15 minutes?
You should get a solid red light for power and a flashing blue for GPS lock on the GPS module."
