3DR IRIS Issues

Hello,

I am having a problem with one of my IRIS motors I couldn't find an answer (already searched in the foruns and nothing like my problem). The rear left motor is not spinning as the other three, even after ESC calibration.
I did all calibrations from Mission Planner, plus ESC calibration, but this motor can't find the sync.
The video of my issue:

The problem is more pronounced at high speeds, as shown in the video. The motor spins and, for a very short period, it stops before spins again... So it spins, quick stop, spin, quick stop, etc.

It looks like an ESC sync problem, but I've already calibrated it. In Mission Planner, all parameters seem to be right (as iris.param).

I appreciate any help!

Thanks.

  • I'm also having an issue about the Pixhawk Log.

When I connect my Iris' Pixhawk, via USB, in Mission Planner and hit connect at Terminal screen, I receive a bunch of codified logs.

  • Another issue I'm having is regarding the GPS.

When I turn my Iris on, the aft light blinks green 4 times, then switches between red and blue, then blinks green twice and, lastly, blinks blue. The light remains blinking blue until I arm the quadcopter, when the blue light becomes solid, indicating GPS NO FIX.

    The pattern is shown below:

Mission Planner indicates GPS NO FIX.

No matter how long Iris remains on, the GPS does not fix.

  • Another issue I'm having with my IRIS is regarding the battery.

I have cicled it just once and in the next charge, the charger showed the light pattern bellow:

I did a search about this and from the answers, I can conclude the battery is dead.

  • Hi Antonio, here is the picture of the clips I've mentioned. I'm not sure if these are really clips, but certainly are not solder.

You don't mention this at the 3DR IRIS motor replacement manual. Am I able to take these clips out and then put them again?

    Thanks.

  • Another thing I have noticed is that the bad motor is shaking a lot, as if it were not centered. I made a video showing the good motor (first one) and the bad motor (second one).. The shaking is pretty evident.

I don't know if I can use the data logs from Mission Planner to conclude whether the problem is the motor or the ESC. I am studying that!

    Any help?!!
