3DR X8+: best practice of mounting DYS BLG3SN (sony nex) gimbal?

Hi guys,

I recently bought an 3DR X8+ (2014). I want to mount my DYS BLG3SN on it. On the 3drobotics.com it says that the DYS BLG3SN gimbal is recommended. However, 3DR does not have information on how to mount the gimbal. Also, on this platform I cannot find an optimal solution.

I was wondering: does anyone here have a best practice? Primarily a solid solution for mounting, and further I am also interested in extension of the legs (and experiences).
