Hello i thought i would ask on a forum of people that know alot about drones, I have been thinking after looking at some photos of drones people have desgined of MQ-9 type drones and i want to have a go at building one cause of the idea of being able to be able send this up and give it commands to go to places and me watch through a camera.
Now to be specific this is what im thinking
- The ability to fly for 1-2 hours in one fly with the camera being used (Probably turned off until i want to use it haven't decided)
- Autopilot ability to do circles of a area
- Able to hold a camera that is able to zoom (i do know a friend that is really really into the whole camera thing)
- High flying ability out of sound range
This is starting to sound really familiar? Yeah im trying to think off a army drone except i don't plane to kill i plane to get the thing up go to a place have a look around to see anything interesting.
I plan to save up and build it, if it has to be big that is fine cause i live in a area where i can access a airfield to launch it
Does anyone know anything that either may fit this idea or what it may take to build this, i understand that i will have to put a GPS in it and it will cost alot but i really want to go for the cheap versions of stuff. :)

Their E384 could (almost) do this... maybe, except, by zoom camera or video out. But with few mods, easy to output video streaming.
But not seems alike militar drone!
