Arducopter 2.8 problems

Hi

Hope someone can help

I have a f450 frame with an arducopter 2.8 FC. I have set everything up (correctly, I think) and after going through the setup wizard, everything seems to be ok. I can get as far as arming but I cannot get the motors to move.

Googling leads me to believe it could be an ESC problem

https://10carbest.com/best-hidden-gps-trackers-for-car. I tried to calibrate the escs using the throttle to the top method. The only problem is, I don't get the beeps when I lower the throttle back down.

I've tried everything I can think of

    Try looking at instructions on how to update the encoder firmware or how to enable Failsafe.
