Hi!

I'm new with multirotors but I have some experience with RC planes and electronics. I want to get a multi-rotor, either a quadcopter or an octocopter and I was thinking on building my own because I want it to have certain specifics, but I was wondering if its a better approach to buy a ready-to-fly first and work my way up from there. What do you think?

Thanks

Well multirotors are very easy to fly, if you have built and setup RC systems in the past you should not have too many problems building from scratch. Most of the frames are like Lego anyway.

Just don't make the beast too heavy. Like all aviation only add lightness.
