Hey all! I've been doing a lot of reading on this topic, and these forums always seem to come up. I haven't been able to narrow down exactly what i'm looking for, so I figured I'd just ask.
I currently have a MikroKopter Hex model and can fly it around with a Spektrum DX8. I would like to fly the kopter with an android phone, and no DX8.
What would be the best way to communicate between the phone (Galaxy Nexus), and the MikroKopter? I am interested in completely replacing the DX8 with my Android. I can write the software -- it's the hardware which eludes me. Also, the phone will always be right next to the MikroKopter, so range is not an issue. They can be wired together, if that would be the easiest way.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

get cheap Serial<>BT adapter, no I do not mean overpriced MK stuff, THIS:

connect it to navictrl if you have it, if no, flightctrl.
and connect BT Android.
