Noting my keen interest in RC models, I have finally decided to give it a shot and build my very own Quadcopter.
I am currently studying Aerospace Engineering and I have decided to design a Quadcopter for my Control Systems project. Since I have no practical experience on building one before, I would really appreciate if anyone of you can take some time out to guide me as to how to build and especially design and program the PCB flight control board for the Quadcopter.
Any advice, links, guides, videos etc will be appreciated.
Please note the importance of the fact that I have to design my very own PCB controller since it is my Control Systems Project. Looking forward for an open discussion.

Do you have basic papers on multirotor control theory? Those have been around a few years.
If you are going to purchase your airframe, I recommend any of the DJI Flamewheel or clones. Mounting space is somewhat limited on the 330 size machines.
If you plan to scratch build your airframe, there are several Instructables available. My Instructable has pdfs to at least get a newbie started.
