diydroners in metro Detroit area?

Where do you fly around here?  Wonder if anyone around here meets up fly or work on stuff.

It would be neat if the advanced search in members would allow searching X miles from a zipcode.  So there are 13000 people on here, what's a good way to locate each other locally in the real world.

    More on me,  I'm in Hartland.  worked a little on a kite contraption, flew parts of it, but it's rarely consistent enough wind for a kite here though.  moved last summer and finally getting more organized again, starting to think about a quad or heli.

    I'm at U of M, I do not own a drone/plane at the moment though.
