I am recording video from my drone but not sure what is happening with the video quality.

Notice the wavy lines and distortion. What could be the reason for this?

It's mounted with a gimbal, but am looking for a different vibration dmapers, would you recommend any that are good for a small drone?

Most likely this is vibration distortion, also known as “jello”. How is your camera mounted? Take a look at what kind of cushioning you are using and make sure you have good balanced props! If you have any more questions please let me know, hope that helps!
