I was wondering if it's possible to use the same concept as the Dyson Air Multiplier
instead of a normal rotor on some drone, will it provide the power needed?
What do you guys think? would it be worth a try, or would it FAIL
would be cool if there where field tests
to get a better idea of the Dyson Air Multiplier see the video

This tech has been shown to be nothing more than good marketing, the effectiveness as a desk fan is awful let alone as propulsion. Also you'd note that a 10" standard desk fan is substantially quieter.
Unless your quad is going to be 1m x 1m I wouldn't even bother.
