After many many hours of head scratching I need help.
Testing on bench with just rx inputs wired up. (turnigy 9x with 9xc8 v2 rx)
Hoping to mount system in an easystar, rudder and elevator.
I have ailerons controlling rudder, in other words channel 1, nothing wired up in channel 4. Installed latest firmware ,configured etc etc, all good, Failsafe working like a charm.
If I attach servo wire into channel 4 on apm and rx, rudder shows as working normally but heres the problem, failsafe does not work now and radio values stay exactly where they were on tx switch, ie full left ailerons input, tx off and value stays at full ailerons input, and of course no failsafe.
Spent hours on this and just cannt figure it out.
Any ideas?

Just some more info while im just about sane, arduplane is the firmware, tried from 2.74 - 2.78 all same.
Please help as I have spent all day on this and about to go mad! :)
