Does anyone have an estimate for the payload capacity for the FunJET or does anyone know of a reputable hobby shop that has the EasyStar in stock?

I am wondering if there is anything I need to worry about, aside from tuning the PID gains, if I don't go with an EasyStar?

Unless you've a very experienced RC pilot I'd go with the EasyStar. The Funjet is not for beginners. EasyStar can carry more payload, too.
I would recommend the easystar (or skywalker) and then move up to a cheap fast if you need later (skyfun - funjet clone).
