I recently revamped my quad in an attempt to improve the anti-vibration as required using latest update, v2.9.1 with APM 1.4.
When I replaced the APM on the frame and wired up the receiver as normal, I checked the channels and calibrated the radio (Spektrum DX8) in Mission Planner (latest version) all was functioning in MP as previously.
Correct green bars moving in response to related stick movements
When I did a live test with props fitted (restraints on quad) the pitch stick input was operating the roll action and roll input was functioning as pitch???
I have done a total erase, reset and reload of the v2.9.1 software but this seems to point to an R/C problem, likely something simple and silly like me, (stop sniggering in the back) I had erased the quad from the radio and gone through the full radio bind/setup again for the quad.
Anybody with more nous regarding the mysterious ways of R/C set ups, any pointers, clues, hints or whatever gratefully welcome.
PS. I had posted this in the RC Equipment forum yesterday,so far without response, apologies for the cross posting but I hate to miss the rare tranquil flying weather here at present.
Baffled and bewildered.
TIA Mike P.
