Haunted Tx

Hi guys, new to the forum so let me know if I'm in the wrong place for this problem. I've put together a racing quadcopter using this Rx/Tx setup,

https://hobbyking.com/en_us/skyzone-p-p-25mw-set-w-ts5825-tx-rc832-rx-and-sony-480tvl-ccd-camera-and-c-p-antennas.html

When I first put it together I had the transmitter and camera wired directly to the battery terminal. With a fully charged 3s battery the signal to my headset would cut out, but after running the battery down to about half charge the signal would return clear as day. Assuming the issue lay with the voltage variation from the battery I installed a 12v UBEC between the battery and the Tx/camera but the issue persisted, mostly. Now the signal sometimes comes back with no prompting whatsoever, and will then be gone a few seconds later. Everything works consistently once the battery has been run down but that reduces my flight times quite considerably.

Finally my conclusion is that the thing is haunted, but seeing as there isn't an exorcist in my area I'm turning to you guys.

Again, if this isn't the right place to post this let me know.

Thanks.
