Good morning, dear friends of the hobby.
I need a help from those who understand digital electronics and SMD components. I have the custom to set up MPAs, but I'm not in the habit of call led them.
The fact is that setup a apm 2.6 and got to fly with the quadrotor and pretty much everything was fine, just missing some minor adjustments.
I decided to call a single LED on the A6 pin (indicative of GPS) and A7 (indicative of armed Company). Good procedure was as follows:
I called in a leg and another in the POSITIVE SIGN A7 and it did not work right, then I saw that to get the message need was to connect the NEGATIVE AND SIGN. Ai worked beauty. I did the same for the A6 pin.
I was the controller connected only in usb and made the combination to arm the controller, after turning off and connect the USB cable and connect the drone in lipo (via the power module) APM alloy, lights internal LEDs and after about 4 the 2nd off.
By opening it identified one SMD square component black color close to the main processor, of about 3 to 4 mm, with 10 legs (5 being on one side and 5 on the other) with a small stuffing and linking it heats up almost rip the skin off and then the controller off.
Can anyone tell which component is that it is written in it 9BT1 JBR!? !!?!
Have you seen a similar case? I did some wrongdoing?
I saw something in forums saying the APM can not be armed only the USB cable that is dangerous damage some component, but I always ask the parent Cock usb and never had problems, some light?

That looks like the analog switch.
TS5A23157 as indicated on APM2.5.2 - not sure what version board you have there.
It is a non programmed device.
http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/ts5a23157.pdf That is the VSSOP package.
Something went very bad on your board and if that is blown, there could be other issues.
Above is the location of the APM2.5.2 board, similar to yours.
Above is the section of the schematic showing the part and the input/output/control lines.
You need some good soldering gear to remove and replace that... IF that is the only problem.
Good luck!

Thank you for quick response. But will I teased it to connect a LED? Where I could find this component to buy?
