I built HobbyKing's FPV / UAV Fiber Glass Kit V2 (With Flaps) 1660mm and flew it a few
times to trim it out. I then installed my Ardupilot APM 2.5 with the latest firmware update.
I walked through the online setup procedure, put in a few waypoints, and went down to my
flying club's field to give it a go. Everything went fine, but I could tell that the UAV was
overshooting the waypoints. A review of the log file and .kmz in GoogleEarth confirmed
my observation. I don't know if I need to increase the gain or the maximum angle
of the ailerons or what. Here is the log file from my first mission: 149.log
After thinking about how I missed the waypoints, I decided to do a second mission with
the waypoints more spread out to make it easier for the UAV to get to them without
overshooting or missing them. My results were better, but I am still not satisfied with the
performance. Here is the log file from mission #2: 190.log.
I did my own analysis and it looks like the my ailerons are not reacting fast enough to
what APM 2.5 is telling them to do. However, I don't want to start editing settings without
some guidance as this could have catastrophic effects to my UAV and my ego :)

Did you tune it? You should at least get as far as the Initial Assessment part.
