Just wondering, how many propellers can a single Ardupilot Mega 2.5 + can control at a single time, wirelessly ?

DYI Drones sells up to a Hexcopter.

Looking at the datasheet of ATmega2560,"It has 54 digital input/output pins (of which 15 can be used as PWM outputs" ? So can it support up to 15 PWM Motors at once?

I am not building a UAV. Just trying to build a test experiment for propellers.

  • Hi, there seems to be 10 supported PWM output channels for APM2. Actaully on the board and in some documentation there seems to be 11, but number 9 (8 where zero based) has not PWM output implemented.

APM2 cannot control propellers wirelessly. Well not without some extra hardware.

    Regards
