I am a recruiter working with one of the TOP action camera companies in San Mateo, CA. We are looking for a Flight Tester who can support the Aerial team. Below I have included the job description as a reference.
Flight Tester Job Description:
This opening will be based 50% in San Mateo (reporting bugs and documentation) & 50% in the South San Francisco Flight Warehouse.
- Flight Tester will be testing Quadcopter maneuvers & failure points.
Requirements:
- Must have worked with Quadcopters in more of a DIY manner vs with DJI (Phantom)
- Need to have 1- 2 years of experience in flying multirotor
- Need to have experience in diagnosing problems and documenting/reporting them
- Knowledge on photography with high def action cameras, experience with using gimbal, flying multirotor is necessary
- Positive attitude, keen observer of the flight behavior, disciplined and well organized in reporting the observations, inner urge to recreate a failure that was observed is a must.
- Experience with flying and Photography is must have.
- Having flying RC club membership is a plus
Additional Information:
- 5 month contract with potential to extend based on business needs and job performance
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $28.57 /hour
