  • Hi Jan

We have just uploaded a vídeo with the trade-off analysis among two diferente compasses to make the right choice for EJTimu. Check it on the blog http://ejtech.blogspot.com/ .

  • I Jan,

I do not know if you are still interested to this, but we have just undertaken an openhardware project trying to merge the good stuffs of each of the previous platforms. Moreover we are also considering FreeIMU from Fabio Varesano.

The idea is to make an AHRS + baros that integrates not only sensors but also microProcessor (like Mongoose) and FDTI in same board. The goal is to have sort of plug and play unit that could be very usefull especially for algorithms development.

Take a look at our page @ http://ejtech.blogspot.com/

  • Hi Jan.

I find myself in a position of being down to 1 ArduIMU and I would like to continue using the legacy Ardupilot. Thanks for the update as to available IMU's. The Mongoose looks like an alternative.
