  • It's a trend vector showing you where the aircraft is heading in the next few seconds (I don't know how long it is). It is helpful to show the radius of turn the aircraft has entered, and that the plane will be changing heading before that becomes apparent. If it is zig-zagging on you, you may have an oscillation in roll that needs to be addressed.
