Hello,

So I'm putting together my first quadcopter and I have posted my bill of materials on my project website: http://scdrones.drupalgardens.com/content/quadcopter

I was hoping to have someone with a bit more experience to look over my Bill of Materials to make sure that I'm not setting myself up for failure.

This is my first quadcopter and the Bill of Materials was made with my minimal knowledge so I'm really wishing to get some good feedback about whats good and bad about my Bill.

Here is the bill:

probably too much kv motors

What problems would that cause my quadcopter?

battery drain, a plus though would be that you will be able to lift payload effortlessly and effeciently.

if you go with those motors I would get a 4s LiPo.

Also, save yourself the money and get the mediatek GPS. The mediatek gets excellent reception and mine locks fast. Unless you are flying inverted for more than a few seconds you don't need the ublox. Use the money to get a 4s. The ublox is excellent though, don't get me wrong.

Thanks. Did you notice that we were going to use 2 3S batteries. Is it still better to use the 4s or 2 3s batteries?
