Potential problems with a Pixhawk

Hey all,

I've been working on a quadcopter and will be using a 2 axis gimbal on it.I'll be shooting videos with my quad.I've heard APM gets bogged down due to it's 8 bit processor.

Can someone shed more light on the aforementioned problem and also whether APM is fine or it's better to switch to Pixhawk?

Cheers,

Karan

  • APM overload depends on motor count and how much logging you run.
A quad with little logging is fine.
In any case, Pixhawk is the way to go if you don't mind the price difference.
