I have experience with the KK2 and the CC3D but am new to the APM 2.5 which has many more features and capabilities.  I have built a new H copter and installed the APM 2.5 board.  I was wondering if there is any special power up sequence with the following hardware on my quad?

  • APM2.5
  • Rx
  • GPS w Compass
  • MAVLink OSD
  • 3DR radio
  • ESCs

Or can I just connect the battery and go?

As long as you've done the setup and calibration (http://copter.ardupilot.com/wiki/initial-setup/) you can just connect the battery and go.

There's no specific power-up sequence - the parts are designed to be powered up at the same time.
