Raspberry Pi + Arducopter

Hey! We want to build an automatic quadrocopter and we want to use arducopter as a stabilization board and raspberry as a high-level controller which would process images and send commands.

These boards are connected via UART1. We already know how to send commands from raspberry TO arducopter, but when we try to send any data FROM arducopter, it's npt working and sending commands from raspberry also start not to be accepted in arducopter.

Does anybody know what's the problem? Or maybe it's better to use USB connection? 

Or it's not a good idea to use raspberry+arducopter at all? :)

  • ... last month there was a thread about serial connections between devices (i think it was also about a RasPi). Maybe there you could find an answer. Do you also want to use the new RasPi cam module?
