I am currently experimenting with 2 RPIs and a Pixhawk2, I would like to stream video and telemetry over wifi from one RPI to the other. The ground station RPI will have a screen and will be running mission planner. I have ordered 2 USB WIFI dongles with high gain antennas which I plan on testing one as a host and connect the other to the host WIFI network, However I also ordered a cheap WIFI router with high gain antennas to test wiring it to a RPI and wirelessly connect the RPI on the drone to stream telemetry and video. Has anyone attempted this? Everything that I ordered is above 300Mbps so I don't think there will be a lag issue. Help would be nice!
