Servo Camera Triggering on 3DR Iris+ not working

Hello

I have a stock 3DR Iris+ and I am trying to get the servo camera trigger to work. I have a separate power supply for the servo and it is confirmed to be working.

I have the signal wire connected to Aux3 (or RC11) on the Pixhawk. You can see my param settings in the images attached, I have everything the way Ardupilot suggest including assigning CH7 as a manual shutter button for testing purposes.

I am get nothing when flipping channel 7 switch. Is there something not mentioned in the instructions or something specific going on with the Iris that I should be looking for?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Mark

  • The image shows RC10 and not RC11 above.  Also did you check that CH7 is working in Radio Calibration.

    • Thanks for reply. Yes the channel 7 is working in radio calibration.

Sorry for mistake on image, I was trying different channels and different functions just to see if I could get something to work. I normally had it connected to channel 11 with channel 11 selected.

I was going to try a servo gimbal setting just to see if that would work but had not got to that yet.

  • Hello.

Any ideas? Thoughts? Suggestions? I was hoping to get back at this on the weekend if someone has suggestions. I have checked and double checked my settings, power supply etc and I just can not get it to work.

Any other forums where I may go that will better serve my subject?

    Thank you all.
