Servo jiggle in stabilization mode

Hi,

in the process of setting up the APM for my Horten-Airplane (Blog), I connected today the APM to the reciever and servos. In manual mode everything works fine. When I change to "stabilization mode" the servos jiggle all the time. The controls work more or less normally in this mode, besides that some jiggling is on top. If I move the APM the servos should in principle move in such a way that the airplane is stabilized. What actually happens is that, the servos begin to move spastically forcing me to change into "Manual Mode".

I shot a video of the behaviour:

Is this maybe a problem with the gain values? I'm using Firmware 1.0 at the moment.

Andrés

  • That looks strange. Did you check your sensors / servo (output) in the CLI mode? How does that look? Maybe you can post a short sequence while the IMU Board is not moved and servos disconnected so there is no (mecanical or vibration) feedback servo-IMU.

It would be good to try APM 1.02
