Alright, I've spent countless hours on forums and websites to find out what's not working. And now I'm really frustrated so I'm asking some help from you guys since you have more experience. I'm a rookie in the world of DIY drones.

The error message I get is "Unable to open COM port: usbmodem1411. Moreover, I cannot connect the telemetry. When I look at the serial port I only have as option: "Bluetooth-modem", "iPhone-WirelessiAP', "Bluetooth-Incoming-Port", "usbmodem1411".

So here are the facts:

I've build a DIY hexacopter

The motherboard is an arducopter V2.8

My MacBook Pro OS X Yosemite 10.10.1

When I go to: About this mac > System report... > Hardware > USB , I get "Arduino Mega 2560" and "CP2102 USB to UART Bridge Controller". So my computer does recognize my arducopter and telemetry when it's connected.

When I look in terminal thought, with this command " ls - /dev/cu.* ". I get :    /dev/cu.Bluetooth-Incoming-Port /dev/cu.Bluetooth-Modem       /dev/cu.iPhone-WirelessiAP. I'm pretty sure this is not normal.

I've download the driver from FTDI, the one given with apm planner and another from this discussion (http://ardupilot.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=82&t=13256). It actually used to work, I would connect my arducopter and get a communication with the 3DR (without any data exchange however). I've deleted the drivers and installed them again, and now nothing is working. I'm been trying to fix it for days.

I know, I know there are many other posts about those problems, but even after reading them all and trying all what it says, it still just doesn't work for me.

Thank you for your help guys it's really appreciated!
