Hi

I've been able to get a number of routes to execute but still have some questions about some of UgCS for DJi's functionality:

Can I get the video recording to start at a specific waypoint? I usually start it with the 'Set Camera Mode' section of the Mission Editor before uploading.

Can I have the video recording stored on the Android device? Right now it is stored on an SD card inserted into the Mavic 2 Zoom.

I've looked through the UgCS for DJI manual. Is there a video of how to use the app? I'm trying to figure out operating the camera while in flight (Pan, Tilt, Zoom). I think I have Zoom figured out.

Is is possible to have the quad return to home and land once the facade scan route is done?

When using UgCS for DJI, is it possible to execute a route without the UgCS laptop available or connected to the Android device? It complains quite a bit about being disconnected from the 'Server' (which I take is the UgCS Laptop).

Thanks...

Hi Mike,

In UgCS you can set camera action at every waypoint. Camera action will be valid till end of route, or till next waypoint containing new camera action.
Video can not be stored on Android device.
Currently, there is no video for UgCS for DJI application. Application functionality is described in UgCS for DJI manual: https://www.ugcs.com/files/manuals/mv.v.2.17/ugcs-for-dji-user-manu...

You have to add waypoint at the end of Facade scan, to this waypoint you can add Landing, and drone will perform all mission fully autonomous.

Once mission is uploaded to drone using UgCS for DJI, it is available from list in application. See page 23 in user manual, buttons Open route, Upload route.

What I normally do, is set home with the "Set Home" button on the UgCS for DJI app once the quad is set on the ground near to where it is going to fly. This is because the gps locations are not that close so that if I pick a spot on the Mission Editor, I'm not sure if it is that close to where the quad gets placed.

Thanks...

Also, is there any plans to be able to have Telemetry stored on the Android Device through UgCSfor DJi or maybe on the quad itsself?

Once I create a mission and upload it to UgCS for DJi, set the quad on the ground, I set home with the "Set Home" button on the UgCS for DJI app. So, what I would like, is to have the quad fly to the spot once the uploaded mission is complete.

Thanks...
