Hi ya'll,
Although this tablet works with Andropilot and I've added support for the built-in joysticks, I've decided that there are enough limits to the tablet that I can't really recommend it:
- Battery life is low
- Screen is a little dim
- The joysticks are pretty 'notchy' (though I have flown my Bixler using just this device - didn't even turn on the RC transmitter as an experiment)
So...
If your one of the folks who kindly kicked in money to buy this tablet for me to give it a shot, please reply to this thread. I'll have a random drawing for the folks who might have a use for this tablet and send it on to the winner... (I'm super busy at work this week, but early next week I'll go through my paypals and send an email to the folks that kicked in)
I'm speaking to you: Robert W, Earl C, Jack O, Linux P, Anthony G, Robert L, Jeremy Z and Rana ;-)
Also - thanks to a Googler who just gifted me a Nexus 10" - I'll add a custom layout for that super large form tablet soonish...

So my wife drew the winner: Earl! So Earl, please pm me with your address and I'll get it out to you.
Kevin,
Please put me in the drawing. I want to experiment with it.
Earl
I would also like to be entered in the draw. Could be useful for Rover, or for my kid to try flying with it.
Hi Kevin ! I would suggest, you to keep the Archos Gamepad with you as it is yours only, and may be required in future and let us know which one you feel is required to be purchased so that we can again kick in money.
niice. could be fun to lead my APMrover2 skidsteer vehicle :)
