Hi, when trying to use HIL on my APM with X-Plane 10, I have a pulsing red LED light (double flash every second or so) and no GPS light.
I see the following message in MP:
INFO: MissionPlanner.MAVlinkInterface - PM Waiting for first HIL_STATE message
It is like the APM iwill not initializing properly when booting using ArduPlane HIL.
Any thoughts?
The simulation works other than this as I can fly the plane with my TX in XPlane, but my map and horizon info etc are not showing up at all in mission planner.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Is there anyway I can bypass the GPS check to get the APM to initialize properly in HIL mode or something?
P.S. When uploading Arduplane 2.78B to the APM everything works fine on the APM (GPS 3D fix etc) this problem seems to be isolated to HIL.

Never mind, figured it out.... had Xplane set to Port 49000, not 49005 as it should be... all is working great now!
