Hi everyone. I'm new to Rover, coming from Copter. In APM Copter, the default use for LIDAR Lite is for altitude. The wiki mentions that APM Rover also supports LIDAR. I'm guessing that altitude isn't the use and that its for obstacle avoidance but am curious about the behavior. Does it simply report distances or does it also try to avoid by default. I've looked in the wiki and here but haven't found an answer.
My Axial SCX10 arrives in a few days. Anxious to get started.
