The first flight went pretty well, tested stabilize, moved forward, switched to RTL and it came back, flew backwards to get home, I assume thats normal, was not sure if it would turn and face me or not.
So now that I think I'm ready to replace my NAZA-M with an AMP I have a AMP 2.5 laying around, but Im so used to the accuracy of the external compass and wondered if I should eBay the 2.5 and get a 2.6 with external compass or are they about the same
Can I replace my NAZA-M with a AMP 2.5 without modification?
i.e., I don't want to cut wires on the stock DJI ESCs in case I want to go back to it, but I do want to try the AMP 2.5 to see how it acts on my hex f550.
As a suggestion it would be really nice if we had Auto option for Ch 7
I have Auto set on my 3 way switch bottom, but the other day I was in mid switch and thought I was in top, I went down one and my quad flew up and hit the trees, then crashing down
I have been using stabilize, wanted to try position hold to see if it will at least stay in my back yard and it wont, it drifts off almost hitting fences and plants.
I know the GPS works well because I fly it waypoints a lot and it works well.
Went to the LEGO store at Disney today and changed out the legs from the thin window frames with 2x2 bricks. This should handle a very solid landing now. Basically this quad is almost one solid frame now since its CA glued together.
