I am an engineer with degrees in mechanical engineering & aerospace engineering and I have 3 years of industry experience in oil & gas. I love doing DIY projects, traveling to explore new places, and playing around with my Great Dane. I am also a passionate entrepreneur with ambitions of starting my own UAV company.
Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest
I have a strong passion for UAVs. In college, I worked on a graduate level project to develop a vision guided UAS using on board laser and sonar sensors to detect objects in UAVs flight path. I also worked on a team to custom design the first ever vertical takeoff capable pylon racer with a conventional fixed-wing design. I am hoping to translate this passion into a UAV business to help serve hobbyists and businesses alike.
