Diagnose Motor / ESC issue on new build

Hi,

Working on my 1st build from scratch (Tarot 650 Sport) with Pixhawk running latest Arducopter. Esc's are hobbwing x rotor.

Looking at getting my first retractable landing skids & was wondering what happens if say RTL was fired, would they automatically go to the downward position?

Troubleshoot Loiter Turns

Best Approach to throttle hover

Hi,

When im in Loiter mode & switch to stabilise mode, the craft shoots upward very fast.

I suspect this is due to the defaukt hover setting being 50% throttle in Loiter then when switching to stabilise the craft gets 50% throttle.

Auto Tune question

Hi,

Will activating RTL override auto tune?

In otherwords if a newbie panicked as the quad veered away too much & couldn't bring back closer, can you just abort autotune altogether by flicking RTL?
