About Me:

ShadeTree HandyMan long time internet piddler and electronics tech techno junkie. Found this site following an internet trail that started with a story about arduino powered minature segway robot that could could balance itself. I was an immediate fan of the open source concept of the arduino. Long time interest in open source movement related to data base driven web sites powered by freebsd, ubuntu, apache, mysql, php, open source creations. http://shadetreehandyman.com

Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest

Long time aviation buff... owned several ultralights... neighborhood of 500 hrs in ultralights. Some RC flying both airplanes and most recently helicopters. Just got an android phone recently and commented jokingly to friends at work it would make a great brain for poor mans cruise missile. Interest in the phone led me to add feed from engadget on my website. This in turn led to story on segway robot with arduino brain. My interest in is in both the technical side and love of flying side. I see UAV with video capability in the near future.
