Hey Mark hows it going? Hey I have the APM 2.5 installed it on the skywalker and flew it a few times. Now i have removed it and going to try it on a multi-rotor. I have difficulty with the PC stuff just not well educated in that area. Was nice to meet you maybe we could get together sometime and talk shop. I am building a hex from scratch as I told you that I hope to use for aerial photo stuff. Hows the heavy lifter coming along?
I have never used the APM products but they look really fascinating. I am currently outfitting the fleet with Range Video's RVOSD. The Hexa XL build is going smooth. I hope to have it ready in a week or two. I will be out at the fairgrounds often this summer and hope to see you there. Sorry I could not stay to see your quad fly last time.
I also wanted to mention that I have a Zephyr II (Mostly Built), TBS Battery Box, Ruby Autopilot (it can land by itself!), Hacker Motor and Speed control for sale if you are interested. It is all brand new/ never powered up. I'll sell it all for $500. You will be saving $150.00. Let me know. - Mark
Scratch that, the Hexa XL build had ground to a halt. The aluminum arms cannot accommodate the size if my motors. Fortunately I have a Droidworx AD frame waiting in the wings. I am putting the hexa frame away today and will start the build on the other unit.
