Plugin Development for Mission Planner

Started Aug 23, 2015 0 Replies

I'd like to add a realtime data network logging plugin (TK102 or OpenDMTP or similar, whatever's easiest) to Mission Planner. I could do it myself, but I'm not really a sharp C# guy, I'm a C++ guy at…Continue

I'm curious, is it possible to snoop on the 3DR standard (Iris+ or Solo) telemetry or remote from, for example, an RTLSDR receiver? It's not encrypted communications, it's just spread spectrum…Continue

Very cool - another Hanson into multicopters! Your hexa looks nice- have you tried a mission yet?

If you ever want to play with a quad, let me know.  I live in Wheat Ridge and I fly whenever possible - this stuff is addictive!

I'm still trying to get it to fly stably.

I've trashed my landing gear so far. I just installed the sonar, and was trying to get ALT_HOLD or LOITER to work nicely with it but it didn't seem to climb when the wind made it drift into a hillside on ALT_HOLD. I've flown little indoor gyro helos and an pretty good at that, but this big guy is a whole different beast.

Now I'm getting assymetric lift, the tail comes off the ground first and it noses over forward into the ground. I think my front lower rotors are too damaged form too many chips and scuffs from bad takeoffs or landings. Need to get by Colpar and get fresh rotors and see.

I don't know if I sent you any pics of video, but here is some:
