"I had the same issue appear just yesterday on my M600 using MapsMadeEasy Map Pilot with a thermal camera. I suspect the latest firmware update may be the culprit after testing everything that I could think of."

I just put a comment on the YouTube video that I think will answer your question. All you need to do is load the firmware for 'plane' on the APM and then it will work as shown in the video. I also posted info on new gimbals that might work better than my DIY project which didn't exist when I did this.
