Is my APM 2.5 bricked?

Started this discussion. Last reply by Kim Eggert Feb 13, 2014. 38 Replies

Whenever I initially use the latest version of Mission Planner, I reflexively "upgrade" the APM 2.5 firmware. It's an instinct I've developed after working with computers for 30+ years to make sure…Continue

I Launched MP 1.2.51 and it mentioned there was a new version available, which I upgraded to in the app. I connected to my APM 2.5 via USB and updated the firmware as per usual when a new build of…Continue

About Me:
I'm a disabled shut-in who enjoys video games and deep thinking. Flying robots will shape the future of the species and I hope to have something to do with that.
Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest
I barely comprehend the difference between PPM and PWM. I have been "into" drones since January 2013, so I'm very much a neophyte. I avoid high-brow verbiage on the subject because, as in any industry, loudmouthed noobs tend to be ostracized. This is a good thing, so if I ever need a time out, no offense will be taken.

I have particular interests in SAR Activities, Precision Agriculture, Xtreme Data Gathering, and Asteroid Mining.
