APM 2.0 Attitude Accuracy

Posted on April 29, 2012 at 6:30pm 5 Comments

I am wondering if anybody has been able to do any sort of characterization of the attitude estimation accuracy of the APM 2.0. I asked on the Blog Post 'Great lecture on the Outback Challenge by APM developer Andrew Tridgell' what type of direct geo-referencing…

Actually we purchased it test flown as an RC airplane from Bruce Tharpe of btemodels.com, then we integrated the piccolo autopilot. It was a super sized version of the already large Super Flying King kit he offers. I cannot praise Bruce enough for his excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail. It has been a great platform for us.
