home directory contains vArduCopter, which is the "runtime", contains the APM executable (elf), the sim_multicopter and the MAVProxy. 

Ports tcp/5760-5765, udp 5500-5505 and udp 14550 are open to the outside world so you can connect, say the Mission Planner from home to 184.169.152.75:5760 on Serial 1, connect the MAVProxy to 184.169.152.75:5763 (or localhost:5763 on that machine) and use it as a CLI. 

Also in the home directory is full GIT source of ardupilot-mega. So "git pull" to get the latest in that directory. "make sitl"  and it will re-compile (cleanly, at the moment). All dependencies and development tools are installed. 

As soon as I get your key, I'll install it on user ubuntu's authorized list.
