Thanks for the note and congrats on the project. Are you using APM/Pixhawk as your autopilot?

I don't know much about Autopilots at the moment. I was hoping to leave the Autopilot till the end. Hopefully get a cheaper more modern one. Although I will probably need to order it in a 3 months. I need to do some research on the Pixhawk. Is their any different between the ArduPilot Mega 2.6 and Pixhawk?

Quick question wireless data link for Auto pilot. If I'm flying long range I don't think I can maintain a wireless data link 50 - 100km away. Is there anyway to get those coordinates via 3G or a site that tracks the position?

Been busy so I haven't done much on the project. Still awaiting some orders I will be looking to order the final components in the next two months. Radio controller getting fixed and then I should be able to do a test flight.
