"Here is my experience with the same problems.  I scoured the net looking for solutions for the past two days.  I couldn't get a link like I had when I first connected. Well.  I had changed out my micro usb cord for a longer one.…"

"Hey Mike, I'm wondering if you purchased the PNP Volantex with Gimbal? Or just the plane? I'm having issue with the red/black leads inside the plane."

"The wise user also saves a parameter file after you have it tuned up and working nicely. That way when something gets hosed or you do a FW update, you can reload the known good parameters."

"First post here :)Hello, I upgraded my hex to 3.1.3 yesterday, and have done a few flights (total only ~30 minutes so far), including an AP mission. Before it was on 3.1.2, and also fine. I have however carefully calibrated everything…"

"Inverted? Hook your APM up to your computer and check over everything. Pick it up and move it around a bit, sideways, nose up, upside down, every which way, then post a log here, I'll take a look at it for you :) you could very easily have the…"

"Well. Internal compass is a less than optimal solution. By placing power away from APM, and running compassmot, is usually no problem making it work fine. Start by making it fly well in stabilize. Do autotune once you are sure you don't have…"

"The quad I mention on the next page is an APM 2.5, and it had problems going to the 3.X.X series of code because that series uses the compass a lot more for nav and stabilization than the 2.X.X code did. That's the reason 2.8 worked for you,…"

"It was a design fault in placing the compass inside the APM. Thats why 3DR now make the compass as part of the GPS and they are both external and intended to be placed away from all EMI. Its your fault in the sense, you and only you can fix this,…"
