looks like you are in hollidays ? where do you find all this time? aren't you sleeping sometimes?
i'm giving all my spare time to my plane and programing it looks like you have longer days as mine where you live (maibe 38 hours long?)
it is 12h and i'll try to fly a little later in the afternoon to see what happens particulary in fly by wire mode to compare to your problems.
with the i CAN FLY version and 8 to the gain that seems to work very fine for me the other day....
waiting for the Ferrari to arrived Jordi!
still can make a tracking antrenna or something with the locosys...
is there a way of mounting the Z sensor? (i guess not)
hi,
sorry but i couldn't go flying because it was too windy and i had to repair a camper van,
but i found time to change the firmware of an old bluetooth GPS that was blocked at 19200bds and not configurable at all by the compagnie that sold them.
now i can use it with ardupilot in SIRF binary mode and set everything you can set usally.
so that would be as using the recomended EM406 @ 1HZ
the only bad thing is that because it is not the "proper firmware" the led doesn't blink or light when there is a FIX
hope i could try tomorrow this and confirm at least that the Fly By Wire works with the Peter special code.
sad that i'm few hour late from you guys in the US...
UAV v2 is 200% times better because is IMU based and 15x faster CPU. But a lot harder to program and do not includes ground station and waypoint navigation. The UAV hardware is cheap, the expensive is the software =).
I fly at 6pm everyday, like religion. I have a trailer filled with planes. So I take them out, pull one or two out and fly. All charging, electricity, even internet is available from my RC trailer. I have chairs, Computer Table, Lighting system, and even portable generator, if my Solar powered battery system runs low. Vacation, I wish. I am in the middle of finalizing my next operating system launch. So pulling 70 hr weeks is the norm.
I have pictures, will post. But trust me when I say that the setup is correct. Any other ideas as to why this is doing what its doing ? Also, Bryan has the same problem, fefenin has the same problem. Is it not possible there is a problem, I have not seen a post yet of someones successful 2.2.3 flight except yours and chris a's. Can anyone please post if you have had a successful FLIGHT with version 2.2.3....it would help us greatly to know your setup and to know how your plane reacted in your successful flight...thanks!!!
Maybe I was confused about what you were saying. The LED on the EM406 module (which is red) should be off in binary mode. The GPS Lock LED on the ArduPilot board (which is blue), should be flashing fast while hunting for GPS lock, then solid once it finds it.
So I'm confused by your description of a green LED. What GPS are you using?
