Slashdot linked to this article on a Bixler in Sumatra that appears to be equipped with an Ardupilot, based on the mission planner in use on their laptop.

This is great. Well done guys and well done ArduPilot/DIYDrones.

Something that just crossed my mind, how reliable is ordering these parts to Indonesia, what's the postal service like?

I have been a few times in that area the past 10 years. The deforestation has been very well noticable. I hope that, with your help, this can be stopped!

Postal service is OK if you in major city.... If you in remote area it would be take long time for international delivery to arrive. The easy way is useing DFL or fedex, they will do the custom for you... and deliver to your door. Hobby parts available in hobby store in major city but limited, if u use bixler make sure you have spare body...

I live in sumatera, its complex problem, where some military and police official take part..... the local people being used to cut down trees for food...

Having a large open space makes it so much easier.
