Hey everyone,
I'm sure most of you have heard about the techpod and the kickstarter campaign I just want to give one more shout out here for help. Its been a long journey getting to this day. I lot of you have been following and supporting the development of the techpod for years. The countless hours of designing, building and flying seem compressed into just a few moments. I know this will be a success heck I just got a $10,000 backer on Saturday. I think bigger things are on the way. I am going to have a very large amount of airplanes soon and I am going to need some help getting Techpods into peoples hands.I just want to take a moment and thank everyone who has supported the project .thanks to all the people who encouraged me through out the years. Thanks to everyone who help to get the word out. Thanks to all me friends and family who have surrounded me and made me strong. Thanks to Chris Anderson and the rest of the diydrones community for giving me a place to express myself and to learn and grow beyond what I thought was possible. Thanks to my wife for putting up with all my crazy ideas. And most of all Thanks to my mom the hardest working person I have ever met.
love you all!

Wayne, seriously... im refreshing the kickstarter page every 5 mins!! i cant even think how you feel!!! i will try to raise a bit my pledge,
Come on guys re-post it everywhere and lets talk about it later with a pod in our hands...
@Pablo, I agree. This is the first purposed built airplane I've seen. Everything else is either a scale model that doesn't scale well (I'm looking at you Predator), or a jack-of-all-trades master-of-none compromise (Bixler, Skywalker). I love that it has a camera pod in front, and a window on the bottom.
My only wish is that it allowed for two motors...
As for the Apple talk, Ramboky, Jobs very much did tell people "this is crap". Mark, superior design? Most Apple products are examples of some of the worst design and engineering I have seen. But I don't want to derail this post so...
I think that the unmanned airplanes available in the market are years behind from the UAVs potential, we have very advanced controllers and components flying on replicas of manned airplanes or planes that are beautiful but unstable, resulting in inefficiency.
Thechpod in my opinion is a breakthrough. I don't understand about airplane design but I've watched the videos and I can see that Techpod is stable and it flies for 2 hours. And as a plus it has a very nice visual aspect, it really looks like a plane of the future!
I would like to buy 10 but I don't have the money so I my pledge was $460. Good luck!
@everyone
WOW you guys are awesome ! I get home from work and the project is up $3250 today. got a guy on the horn, wants 50! man you guys are amazing.
@Chris
thanks for the upgrade! I will make sure there is a nice cozy spot real close to the CG for an APM2.
@mark
love you man ! my buddy zak calls it a sexy bitch but I think he likes ugly chicks ;-)
if you want to see into the tail area and not just look at the outside check this out
carbon fiber tail boom joined to two CF 3mm rods to
stiffen vertical stab. Pretty much bullet prof as far as any radical maneuvers go. I have gotten a lot of request to make the horizontal stab removable. I will be fleshing this out next week after kicktarter is over and before the 15day "waiting for the money to hit the bank" period.
Thanks everyone! its been an experience of a lifetime.

I've been watching for a while Wayne. I love to see people put their EFFORT where their mouth is. I'm in for a kit, and hope we can bring this together. Nice work!
I just raised my pledge to the fully-assembled one. Just $13,000 to go. Go team go!
