Perhaps I spoke too soon about the iPhone and UAVs

Command a system of UAVs remotely from an iPhone's web browser, regardless of what the TOS says. (thanks to Danger Room for the tip)

I saw that video as well, and my impression is that they're just using the iPhone as a ground station, providing the functionality of a laptop. So it's not acting as an onboard UAV controller.

Yes, that's true. I was just kidding about the violating-TOS bit...

The odd part in that video is that they've got the iPhone plugged into the laptop. What's the point of that? It's just using its web browser, right?

A bit of a gimmicky stunt, but fun all the same.
