Here is from where everyone is coming from (top 5):

An interesting info is that half of you are using older versions of the app. Consider updating to the newest version (v1.1.0) to get some cool feature and bug fixes. To update just go to the app link, or enable automatic updates on your android device.

If you have questions about anything please ask them at the DroidPlanner forum instead of the comments below, so others will be able to find them later.

And as always, if you want to help consider making a donation via paypal, or by buying this app. If you want to help even more, consider joining the development team, or reporting a issue/bug/improvement on GitHub.

And an especial thanks to azrin, bob01 and jason4short for their huge help in the development on this last month.

    @ Randy Ram

    On that video I'm testing a new feature of the app (that has not been released to public use), I'm flying connected to a simulated drone (running on my desktop).

  • Make that 5001

  • Hmm. ok. Maybe I'm mistaken then. Here is the video which I was trying to replicate on my Nexus.

  • Oh ok I see now, I'm on 2.2 froyo so that could be an issue. Maybe I'll see if I can pick up a galaxy player or whatever and set that up...

    @Randy Ram

    Currently we don't have the ability to simulate a flight, could you send me the link of the video where you have seen that?

    But to see what DP is capable it's best if you connect it to your ArduPilot device.

    @Michael

    The app is only for Android devices with versions 4.0 and up. This happens because there is a driver issue that has only been resolved from this version forward.

    The free app is just a token for donation, it doesn't do anything. I made it available to all devices to make the donation process easier.

  • I have question. I have the free version on my nexus 7 but I can only find the support one on the play story on my old Droid Incredible 2 (I have windows phone now). The nexus is too big to mount to my controller. I don't mind supporting the platform but I would like to try how I like having a phone on my controller. Any idea how to get it?

  • Nice. I downloaded the older version sometime back. I have not used it yet on the APM yet. Hopefully I will get to it soon. But I did get a chance you play around with it. One of the thing I trying to do, was to have it simulate a flight path which I saw in one of your videos. I was not able to do it. I am guessing I still have to connect to the APM before having the Droidplaner the simulated flight on my Nexus can take place.
